Enjoy a Luxurious Caramel Adventure with world class chef Carole Bloom as she discusses her most recent book, Caramel. Author of 11 other cookbooks, this latest addition to Bloom's collection, expertly guides you with clearly written instructions and helpful hints as you indulge in creating wonderful caramel-laden treats, like tarts, cookies, custards, and candies.
During this event, as Bloom elaborates on how she devised such decadent recipes as Caramelized Almond Financiers and Caramelized Roasted Pears, guests will partake in a tasting of sweet treats created by the master kitchen at Eclipse Chocolate. Palates will be delighted by delicious toffee with unexpected flavors, such as, peanut butter, sea salt, & smoked almond, perfectly paired with various wines chosen by the founder of Eclipse, chef, and recent winner of Food Network's Guy's Grocery Games, Will Gustwiller.
Your Adventure includes a decadent tasting, a fleet of expertly paired wines, tax & gratuity, a book discussion, Q&A, author signing, and an opportunity to meet the author up close and personal in an intimate and fun setting.
About the Book and Author
Carole Bloom is a European-trained pastry chef and confectioner, author of eleven cookbooks, food writer, cooking instructor, media chef, and spokesperson. In addition, she has worked in world-class hotels and restaurants in Europe and the United States, and has been a consultant for both new and established culinary businesses.
Carole has made many TV appearances including on The Today Show NBC, ABC World News This Morning, CNN, Better Homes and Gardens Television, and Seasonings on PBS. She speaks frequently at national and international conferences. In addtion, Bloom was also the national spokesperson for the American Boxed Chocolate Manufacturers Group and the Chocolate Manufacturers Association.

Parking may be limited, so you may wish to carpool or arrive early to find street parking. Eclipse Chocolate Bar offers a great happy hour from 4:00-7:00pm, so come early to find parking, then enjoy a glass of wine with your girlfriends until the event begins at 6:30pm. Tasting will start promptly at 6:30pm, so plan accordingly so you don’t miss one minute of this exclusive event.
