About the Event
Please join us for dinner with TEDx speaker coach and writer Stephanie Weaver, as she provides tips on how to construct (and deliver) a great book talk. A national speaking consultant, Weaver has coached over two dozen TEDx talks, including business author Ken Blanchard and Academy Award® winner Richard Dreyfuss. She is well-versed in what it takes to create and deliver a talk that will help you present your book in a dynamic manner. If you plan to do any speaking when your book is published, or even if you already have, you won’t want to miss this chance to get some tips from a pro.
What is AuthorPreneurs? Our goal is to create an all-inclusive author community in SoCal that provides opportunities to network, learn, engage, support, and contribute, including our monthly dinner series for authors, made possible with generous support from Real Office Centers. Founder Susan McBeth’s vision for authors aligns with ROC’s vision for entrepreneurs: providing stimulating opportunities for innovation, inspiration, and collaboration. ROC is where entrepreneurs and companies can grow, and AuthorPreneurs (TM), formerly known as the SoCal Author Academy, is where both seasoned authors and emerging writers can grow. Don’t miss out on this groundbreaking new program!
About the Speaker:At heart, Stephanie Weaver is a teacher, whether she is working with clients as a speaker coach, writing, creating recipes, photographing food, or speaking to groups. Her work in the museum field for more than twenty years creating exhibition content and educational programs provided excellent training to become a speaker coach. For three years, she was part of a curatorial team on a local TEDx event and has coached over twenty TEDx speakers, including renowned business author Ken Blanchard and Academy Award(R) winner Richard Dreyfuss.
