Join Maureen Cavanaugh, host of the enormously popular KPBS Midday Edition, as she shares important aural tricks of the trade acquired from her 15 years at KPBS. Cavanaugh will share tips on why authors should have an audio version of their book, what to look for in an audiobook narrator, and then will conclude with a lesson on how to be interviewed. About the Speaker:Maureen Cavanaugh has received three "Golden Mike" awards from the Radio and TV News Association of Southern California, as well as a "Best of Show" and “Best Radio Newscast” awards from the San Diego Press Club, among others. She is also the founder of Great Narrations, which specializes in the creation of audiobooks, documentaries, and voice-over performances.
