About the Event
Please join us for dinner with special guest speaker, publisher and award-winning author Midge Raymond, at the next event in our exciting new program for published authors and serious writers in SoCal. "Book publication is just the beginning" is the idea behind Midge's book, Everyday Book Marketing, a book designed specifically for the published author who is not only a writer, but who also may have another career, a family, and any number of other obligations that require fitting book promotion into a budget where both hours and dollars may be hard to find. As a published author and founder of Ashland Creek Press in Oregon, Midge knows exactly what she is talking about. And combined with her exceptional talents as a writer, editor, and teacher of more than twenty years, including at Boston University, San Diego Writers, and Grub Street, Midge is uniquely qualified to cover the marketing basics (websites, blogs, thinking of events, etc.) in a manageable way, without getting overwhelmed. *Seating is limited, so you are encouraged to register early. The first 50 to sign up will receive a FREE autographed copy of Midge’s book, Everyday Book Marketing. In order to receive a free copy, you must be in attendance at the event. Cancellations not received within 72 hours of the event are not refundable. All cancellations will result in forfeiture of free book. Limit one free book per household of writers who attend the event. This event is ONLY open to serious writers and published authors.
