Introducing our New ABTB Book Club Series!

Adventures by the Book is delighted to welcome seven ABTB Ambassadors, who moderate our ABTB Book Club Series. The monthly series will alternate between virtual Zoom events, in person San Diego, California events, and hybrid in person/virtual Harrison, New York, events. Each month, our Ambassadors will select an Adventures by the Book author and book to discuss, and we will send out invites for you to join us as you are able, whether in person or virtually.

We invite you to join us at our next virtual event featuring acclaimed author Sarah C. Johns, in a moderated book club discussion with two of our esteemed Ambassadors, Giovanna Fiorino-Ionnace and Janis Daly, and YOU!

Whether you are already part of an existing book club, or have been wanting to join one, our ABTB Book Club is open to all. Read the book, which we encourage, or not, if you don’t have time, but come join us anyway and be part of the shared reading experience.

About the Author and Book

Sarah C. Johns is a writer and video producer. After studying in South Africa, Hungary, Israel, and Germany, she graduated from McGill University before attending film school in Sydney, Australia. She lives with her family in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Her debut novel, The Sirens of Soleil City, is a witty, touching story of three generations of women who learn to own their mistakes and rebuild their bonds as they prepare to compete in the South Florida Senior Synchronized Swimming Competition.

While this event is FREE and open to the public, registration is required in order to receive a Zoom link (to be emailed to you 3 days prior to the event). Books may be pre-ordered below to ship directly to you so that you may read the book prior to the book club discussion.
