Introducing our New ABTB Book Club Series!

Adventures by the Book is delighted to welcome seven ABTB Ambassadors, who moderate our ABTB Book Club Series. The monthly series will alternate between virtual Zoom events, in person or virtual San Diego, California events, and hybrid (in person AND virtual) Harrison, New York, events. Each month, our Ambassadors will select a new Adventures by the Book author and book to discuss, and we will send out invites for you to join us as you are able, whether in person or virtually.

We invite you to join us at our virtual ABTB Book Club featuring award-winning and bestselling author Jeanne Blasberg, in a moderated book club discussion with two of our esteemed Ambassadors, Marilyn Dashe and Debby Stone, and YOU!

Whether you are already part of an existing book club, or have been wanting to join one, our ABTB Book Club is open to all. Read the book, which we encourage, or not, if you don’t have time, but come join us anyway and be part of the shared reading experience.

About the Author and Book

Jeanne Blasberg is an award-winning and bestselling author and essayist. She formerly cochaired the board of the Boston Book Festival and served on the Executive Committee of GrubStreet, one of the country’s preeminent creative writing centers.

Her novel, Daughter of a Promise is a modern retelling of the legend of David and Bathsheba, completing the thematic trilogy she began with her previous novels, Eden and The Nine.

While this event is FREE and open to the public, registration is required in order to receive a Zoom link (to be emailed to you 3 days prior to the event). Books may be pre-ordered below to ship directly to you so that you may read the book prior to the book club discussion.
