Adventures by the Book is delighted to welcome two exceptional historical fiction authors—Donna Jones Alward and Gabriella Saab—for a special Titanic-themed virtual Book Club Adventure on this unforgettable date in history.
As part of our ABTB Book Club Series, our Ambassadors curate a mix of virtual, in-person, and hybrid events designed to bring readers and authors together through meaningful conversation. For this April gathering, our Ambassadors have selected two extraordinary novels that illuminate the Titanic’s enduring legacy through powerful storytelling.
We invite you to join us for this virtual event, featuring award-winning authors Donna Jones Alward and Gabriella Saab, in a moderated conversation with two of our esteemed ABTB Ambassadors, Simon Chibuk (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada), and Marilyn Dashe (San Diego, California), and YOU!

About the Authors and Books
Donna Jones Alward is a New York Times bestselling author of many beloved romance novels that have been translated into over a dozen languages, as well as her historical novel, When the World Fell Silent.
She has enchanted readers with award-winning stories of happy endings and homecomings that have been translated into over a dozen languages. Her foray into historical fiction tales blend her love of history with characters who step beyond their biggest fears to claim the lives they desire.
Donna currently lives in Nova Scotia, Canada, with her husband and two cats. You can often find her near the water, either kayaking on the lake or walking the sandy beaches to refill her creative well.

About the Authors and Books
Gabriella Saab is an acclaimed author of historical fiction. Her first two novels, The Last Checkmate and Daughters of Victory, have been published in multiple languages and various countries. She graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor of business administration in marketing and lives in her hometown in Alabama..
Her historical novel, The Survivors Guild, coming on September 1, 2026, is set in 1912 aboard the RMS Titanic. Nabiha “Bea” Nohra is traveling to America to find work, eager to earn the funds necessary to afford passage for the family she left in Lebanon.
On the same ship, heiress Marguerite Ashby sails home to celebrate her engagement to a dull British lord, a marriage that will secure her new-money family’s place in old New York society.
