Introducing our New ABTB Book Club Series!

Adventures by the Book is delighted to welcome 7 new ABTB Ambassadors, who are helping us launch our new ABTB Book Club Series. The monthly series will alternate between virtual Zoom events, in person San Diego, California events, and hybrid (in person AND virtual) Harrison, New York, events. Each month, our Ambassadors will select a new Adventures by the Book (formerly NovelNetwork) author and book to discuss, and we will send out invites for you to join us as you are able, whether in person or virtually.

We invite you to join us at our hybrid ABTB Book Club featuring acclaimed author Jennifer Coburn, in a moderated book club discussion with 2 of our esteemed Ambassadors, Giovanna Fiorino-Iannace and Janis Robinson Daly, and YOU! 

This hybrid opportunity offers you two ways to participate: live and in person, or virtually. If you are in the Harrison, New York area, come join us live at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Avenue, Harrison, New York or, if you prefer or are unable to attend in person, come join us virtually via Zoom.

Whether you are already part of an existing book club, or have been wanting to join one, our ABTB Book Club is open to all. Read the book, which we encourage, or not, if you don’t have time, but come join us anyway and be part of the shared reading experience.

*Pre-order your copy of The Girls of the Glimmer Factory (below) and we will ship an autographed copy to you, so that you can read it prior to the event and have Jennifer sign your copy at the event.

About the Author and Book

Jennifer Coburn is a USA Today bestselling author whose books include the historical novel, Cradles of the Reich, a mother-daughter travel memoir, We’ll Always Have Paris, as well as six contemporary women’s novels. Additionally, Jennifer has contributed to five literary anthologies, including A Paris All Your Own.

Her new work of historical fiction, The Girls of the Glimmer Factory, follows the story of childhood friends who meet again as adults during the making of the Nazi propaganda film Hitler Gives a City to the Jews. Hannah is a Jewish prisoner, and her former friend Hilde is now working for the German Ministry of Propaganda. While this event is FREE and open to the public, please register below to select either the live and in person option to be held at the Harrison NY Public Library or the simultaneous virtual Zoom event. Books may be pre-ordered below to ship directly to you so that you may read the book prior to the book club discussion and get your copy signed by the author at the event.
