Introducing our New ABTB Book Club Series!

Adventures by the Book is delighted to welcome 7 new ABTB Ambassadors, who are helping us launch our new ABTB Book Club Series. The monthly series will alternate between virtual Zoom events, in person San Diego, California events, and in person Harrison, New York, events. Each month, our Ambassadors will select a new NovelNetwork author and book to discuss, and we will send out invites for you to join us as you are able, whether in person or virtually.

We invite you to join us at our hybrid ABTB Book Club featuring New York Times bestselling author Martha Hall Kelly, in a moderated book club discussion with 2 of our esteemed Ambassadors, Giovanna Ionnace and Janis Daly, and YOU! 

This hybrid opportunity offers you two ways to participate: live and in person, or virtually. If you are in the Harrison, New York area, come join us live at the Harrison Public Library, 2 Bruce Avenue, Harrison, New York or, if you prefer or are unable to attend in person, come join us virtually via Zoom.

Whether you are already part of an existing book club, or have been wanting to join one, our ABTB Book Club is open to all. Read the book, which we encourage, or not, if you don’t have time, but come join us anyway and be part of the shared reading experience.

*Pre-order your copy of The Golden Doves (below) and we will ship it to you, so that you can read it prior to the event and have Martha sign your copy at the event.

About the Author and Book

Martha Hall Kelly’s debut novel Lilac Girls, became a New York Times bestseller the week it was published in 2016 and then went on to sell over two million copies and publish in 50 countries. The novel is based on the true story of 72 Polish women who were imprisoned and experimented on at Ravensbruck Concentration Camp and how Caroline Ferriday, an American philanthropist brought them to the U.S. for rehabilitation and the trip of a lifetime.

Martha followed Lilac Girls with Lost Roses about Caroline’s mother, and Sunflower Sisters about Caroline’s great grandmother, which also became Instant New York Times best sellers.

Her latest novel, The Golden Doves, returns to WWII with two former female spies who are bound together by their past and risk everything to hunt down an infamous Nazi doctor in the aftermath of World War II. It is an extraordinary novel inspired by true events.

Books may be pre-ordered below to ship directly to you so that you may read the book prior to the book club discussion and get your copy signed by the author at the event.
