These gals from Coto De Caza, California, are taking advantage of their NovelNetwork membership! They met with Susan Meissner for a book club visit yesterday, and their book club manager, Jennifer Holmes, shared this with us:
“One of my favorite things to do, besides read, is going to author events. I love hearing the author speak about their process in creating a novel, getting to ask questions and hear what other people think about the book. The girls in my book club have never been to a book signing, and weren’t even sure they wanted to!
I was so excited to join Novel Network, and have the opportunity to bring the book signing to them!
Our book for October was “As Bright As Heaven”. I signed up with Novel Network and Susan Meissner agreed to come meet us. I had previously met Susan, and I knew my book club would love hearing her speak. Not only is she articulate, but she is so incredibly lovely, and smart, and she made us all feel so comfortable. Susan brought her screen to show us slides, which helped the book come to life. Everyone had the opportunity to get their books signed and take photos with Susan. It was such a great experience and our group is already talking about who we can book next!”
