October 11, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm PDT

$20.00 – $45.99

About the Event

Books and Wine! They are a perfect pairing, but with so many varietals of wine and books, the process of choosing one or the other can be overwhelming. Well that is all about to change, as we introduce the second in our new series, Pairings & Prose, and we couldn’t be more excited that our event features award-winning author and art historian Laura Morelli, in conversation with international and New York Times bestselling author, Kate Quinn.

With assistance from the talented team at San Diego’s Splash Wine Lounge, we have selected the perfect wine to pair with The Night Portrait, so sit back, pour yourself a glass of Cantina De Pra Pinot Nero (order below to be shipped to you in time for the event), and enjoy a wine presentation, followed by an engaging discussion with Laura Morelli and Kate Quinn, about Laura’s stunning new novel. You just may feel like you have traveled to Italy!

Your Adventure includes signed book, paired wine presentation (sold separately below) tax, shipping, author presentation, and the chance to meet the authors, in a unique virtual event. Place your book and wine orders by October 1, 2020, in order to receive in time to enjoy during the event (COVID delays notwithstanding).

About Cantina De Pra and Featured Wine

Giuseppe De Pra founded Cantina De Pra winery post-World War II in 1959. Since the beginning, Bepi, the nickname of the founder, knew what he wanted for the present and the future
of his winery: growing vineyards and selecting the best grapes to realize a high quality and an authentic wine like the unspoiled landscape where the winery is located.

The De Pra winery story represents one of the best examples of the Italian tradition, where family means passion and love for its own land and work, values which Bepi taught to his daughters Severina, Debora and her husband Luca who, together with all their staff, led the brand to excellence in producing top-notch wines.
