I'm an author of memoir and novels. I love talking to groups who want to know about how I came to write the stories I've published. I love curious groups who want to know about an author's life. I teach City Heights kindergarten through high schooler science classes about how stories interact with science and engineering. May sound boring, but the kids draw "Sharktopuses" and write poems about their community's trash, and I am inspired by their stories. Plus, they make me laugh. I hope to make you and your writing group laugh and learn about my stories.
