Hello! I love reading and writing historical fiction. My newest book is titled 1666: A Novel about the survival of the Patawomeck tribe in Virginia. I am a member of the tribe through the lineage of my father. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. I have worked as a Registered Nurse, a small business owner, an elected official and a non-profit executive in addition to writing. I am a mother and grandmother. In my spare time, I like to garden and play tennis.
