Biographical Info Loretta received her MFA from Hamline University. She is a former teacher and an award-winning author of four young adult novels, a picture book called TANGLE-KNOT, and the historical novels STARS OVER CLEAR LAKE and THE FRENCH WINEMAKER'S DAUGHTER (Dec. 2024, HarperCollins), the story of two women connected by a rare and valuable bottle of wine.
