About the Virtual Fundraiser: Reporting Live from Bulgaria As the horror of the Russian invasion of Ukraine unfolds, and we have been watching the devastating images and statistics telecast from Ukraine, we certainly cannot imagine what it must be like for individual Ukrainians to survive on a daily basis, where one day they are living and loving in their beloved homes, and the next they are fleeing to nearby countries like Poland and Bulgaria, and worrying about their loved ones and where they will live and how they will eat. Because Adventures by the Book was founded with the goal of connecting people and communities, one story (or book) at a time, we felt compelled to share some of these very personal Ukrainian stories with you. Through the magic of Zoom, we will be bringing to you LIVE some of those very stories.
