In case you ever wondered, the answer is yes.  Authors do belong to book clubs!

Meet the Terra Ceia Book Club, described by book club manager Mary as follows, “We’re a small group of 10 residents living on a quaint island (Terra Ceia, Florida) whose claim to fame is an ancient Indian Mound and Internationally bestselling author (and NovelNetwork member) Tracey Enerson Wood. Individually our tastes in books vary widely from local history to historical fiction. We’ve been lucky enough to have had a couple of authors join us to discuss their books and the group enjoyed it immensely while looking forward to upcoming books from them. We’re a group who appreciate books and the work that goes into writing books. We meet monthly, and are currently reading Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. We enjoy reading Fiction, Historical Fiction, Mysteries, Current Best Sellers, Florida History.”

Of their recent visit with book club favorite author Susan, Meissner, book club member Tracey Enerson Wood shared this, “Our book club had the wonderful opportunity to have  Susan Meissner join us for our meeting on Dec. 8. We enjoyed the slide show and learned much about the San Francisco earthquake, and how and why she wrote the book The Nature of Fragile Things. Thank you for the great service you provide bringing authors and readers together.”

Thank you, Mary and Tracey, for sharing with us!  We look forward to seeing which of our authors your group selects for your next book club visit!  We trust you’ve already read Tracey’s books 😉
