Meet the Shenandoah Book Club, an informal group of 36 men and women who love to read. All are residents of Trilogy Lake Frederick in Virginia. They meet on the third Wednesday of every month and enjoy reading a variety of genres, but mostly fiction and largely historical fiction.
The group absolutely gushed about their recent visit with New York Times bestselling author Stephanie Dray. A few comments shared by group members:
“It was really delightful! It was so interesting to learn about her writing process, the way she researches her books, and her life as an author. Stephanie is charming, and it was so fun and such a privilege to have such an accomplished woman join our meeting.”
“That zoom was so much fun and interesting. Stephanie was a delight!”
“ The Zoom meeting yesterday was wonderful!! Great questions and Stephanie was really interesting as she discussed her book.”
“Stephanie’s visit with us was a huge success! All my future book club meetings will seem boring to the members, Stephanie spoiled us sharing her wealth of knowledge on the subject and her personal stories about writing and researching the book! Thank you so much Stephanie!” – Michele, Book Club Manager
And Stephanie’s response to this lovely group: “Hi everybody! I had such a great time, and everyone asked such great questions. I would love to do it again. Such a smart group of ladies. And these comments are making me blush.”
Stephanie Dray is indeed a hard act to follow and the praise is warranted! Visit NovelNetwork.com to view the impressive list of member authors available for book club visits, including Stephanie, and schedule a visit today.
